Eastwood Town Centre set for $2m boost

A RE-ELECTED Albanese Federal Government has vowed to invest $2 million with City of Ryde Council to revitalise the Eastwood Town Centre.
The Eastwood China Precinct will feature a range of public infrastructure and decorative enhancements to establish a distinct and vibrant identity.
Eastwood is on of the most multicultural suburbs in Australia with a proud and thriving Chinese-Australian Community. But beyond cultural symbolism, this project is about creating a more functional, inclusive and welcoming town centre,
The Federal MP for Bennelong, Jerome Laxale, says he understands just how important Eastwood is to the community.
“And I know how much potential it has to grow even stronger,” he said.
“That’s why I was proud to announce today alongside Minister Wong that, if re-elected I will deliver $2 million to upgrade Eastwood’s town centre.”
